This is the classic Upper Tarn, downstream from Le Pont-de-Montvert. We went looking for the famous rapids, 'le Gouffre des Meules' and 'La Trompette', finally we saw them partly from a couple of hundreds meters above and even from that distance they looked pretty spectacular, probably because of the good waterlevel.

So we started 2 km downstream from the village, somewhere where a little path goes down into the gorge.

 

Flo takes on here an easy slide, but not without risk, mainstream goes onto a rock where you could get pinned.
